This interactive workshop will include discussions about confidentiality such as record-keeping dilemmas brought on by technology (electronic health records\, HIPAA regulations) and the patient-litigant exception\; ethical issues involving phone therapy\; dealing with subpoenas and depositions\; malpractice suits\, licensure complaints and expert witness testimony as well as social justice issues (including the privacy implications of the USA PATRIOT ACT and the participations of psychologists in the planning or implementation of detainee interrogations in settings including Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib) and other legal and ethical topics.\n\nReviews from TPJ\nI can't imagine that you'd be anything but utterly pleased. It was enriching\, engaged and not a single person drifted off or dozed.
